Cheap stuff uses glue for the soles though. If the soles on your boots are stitched humid water would be just fine. When completely broken in, will the boots soften up enough to stop the crease line from digging into my little toe ? If they don't do it walking, I wouldn't sweat it. But that said, the get-go pair of Crossfires I bought were stitched wrong and creating a problem like that when I walked. I exchanged them for another pair and those didn't have the problem. So, I judge it depends on how bad the issue is. For me with that pair, I could tell the stitching was slightly unlike boot to boot and simply enough incorrect to hurt.
